Play clock vs. game clock

When you watch some sports, there are two countdown clocks ticking at the same time. One is the time left before the next shot, or play, must take place. The other is the time left in the quarter, or the half, or the game. 

I'm feeling like there are two clocks going for me right now. There are 8 days and change left before the inauguration, and 3 days and change left before my ban from posting on Twitter expires.

If Orange Caligula is going to have us all die in a nuclear attack, I'd be really bummed if I didn't get a chance to tweet about it. And so I hope he holds off until Friday.
