Oregon vax numbers inching up

It appears things are starting to roll a little faster with Covid vaccination in Oregon. The latest numbers I can find show 115,060 doses administered out of 270,800 on hand. That gets us to 42.5 percent, far better than where we have been so far, but still pretty sluggish. There are about 2.6 million Oregonians over the age of 18, and they'll need two shots each.

Yesterday the Gov said that everybody over 65 can get The Precious starting a week from Saturday. But she also said not to call your doctor yet to ask where or when, because your doctor won't know. Nobody does.

Given how many seniors out there can't wait to get poked, the powers-that-be had better come up with some sort of orderly system. Maybe split it up by the day of the month your birthday falls on, or something. Otherwise, you're going to have a lot of blue-hairs lining up in parking lots all night in the rain.
