It was obvious
An alert reader let me know today that my instincts were right – that the U.S. attorney in Georgia, BJay Pak, resigned earlier this week specifically because the White House was pressuring him to pursue baseless charges that the Presidential election results were fraudulent.
In his felonious phone call to the Georgia secretary of state, Orange Caligula threatened the state official and a state lawyer with criminal prosecution for not falsifying the results. I'm sure that was part of what the Trump people were demanding of the U.S. attorney. He wisely walked away rather than play along any further.
Impeachment is badly needed, but imprisonment more so. Orange Caligula thinks he can pardon himself, but that would make him a king. And the last time I looked at the Constitution, we didn't have one of those.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
