God's plan continues to unfold
Stanford won its football game in Seattle today. And lo and behold, Oregon lost at Cal. It's an off year, but outcomes like these, two weekends in a row, still warm the heart.
The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
Don't overlook the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers - now a sparkling 10 and 0.
ReplyDeleteThose guys are something. Their teal field makes me a little nauseous, however.
DeleteI just like hearing Marty and McGee talking about them. You know what sports surface does nothing for me? The Ducks basketball court with the forest look. I find it distracting. Besides, it's Oregon. We look at trees all day. Can't we take a break during a basketball game?
DeleteIt's a tough call between Gritty and the Tree for best/most psycho mascot.
ReplyDeleteThat Coastal Carolina game with BYU is becoming a legend. The home team only found out they were playing BYU on Thursday and yet someone had the initiative to produce t-shirts that read "The Mormons vs. the Mullets", making a bundle in the process.
