  1. There's no way I can comment on this. It's too deep.
Jack, didn't you see John and Yoko going into a Chinese restaurant in New York one time?

    1. A Japanese steak house on Sixth Avenue between 8th and 9th in the Village. They were coming out, waiting for their car go come around. My girlfriend and I couldn't believe our eyes.

  2. I think I can top that. You know Don Hamilton, the spokesman for the Transportation Department? Any time there's a blizzard or during the forest fires, Don's on TV telling us about the roads. Anyway, he used to work at the Tribune and we'd talk. Don attended one of the Beatles concerts at Shea Stadium.

  3. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was in Seattle and the following morning a big crowd gathered in front of the Pike Place market and people were singing Lennon songs and a living/breathing makeshift memorial sprang up. That is when the PNW was very hippy dominated and people were very shaken about the news.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
