On the brink, again, with Covid

Remember back in April, when we were all worried that our hospitals were going to be overwhelmed? Well, here in Oregon, we're back to hospitalization levels not seen since then. Today's report shows 337 people in hospitals in the state with suspected or confirmed Covid. The last day that high was April 10.

Unlike on that April day, our numbers today are rising. The responsible thing to do is hunker down like never before. It doesn't feel like that's what we're doing, though. Pity our poor health care workers. They are in for a rough holiday season.
