Sticking to their guns at Portland State

Here's a disappointing story out of Portland State University. The campus police won't be getting rid of their guns this semester after all. They say they won't lay their firearms down unless they have more officers on duty, and three just left.

This subject has been a real sore spot with students and with Portland's vocal left-wing activists, especially after the campus police shot and killed a Black man who was reportedly breaking up a fight.

It seems like the issue could be resolved with money. The suits at PSU need to find that money. Furlough some urban planners and get the guns off campus. This should not take years.
