An ethical crisis
I missed World War II by a decade. And so I don't know how they wrestled with feelings like those that are stirred up tonight.
The world would be a better place if Donald Trump was dead. But can you ethically wish for that?
How did our grandparents deal with Hitler? Was it okay in 1944 to wish that he would die?
There is really no way I can summon up a microgram of sympathy. Or any hope that he gets past it.
I feel horrible about what's in my heart right now. My only excuse is that I didn't put most of it there.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
