We made the A.P.
The constant protesting in Portland has drawn the attention of the Associated Press. Their story strikes me as odd in a number of ways, but at least it gets on the record the fact that the demonstrators are showing up every night, and things are slowly getting uglier.
One very interesting tidbit that I hadn't heard before:
Hardesty, who has dedicated her career to police reform, is confident Portland will come out of this stronger. She’s working to get a measure before voters — circumventing the powerful police union — to create an independent police review board.
Anybody seen what that is going to look like?
