Trump's private army is digging in
The media event took place in Washington, D.C. Reporters from Portland were not there, and they were not given an opportunity to Zoom in with questions electronically.
For those of us who have been following the unrest and the militarized response, there were a few important takeaways:
1. The U.S. attorney's office in Portland is an active participant in the occupation.
2. A guy named Kris Cline is speaking for the Federal Protective Service. He said his agency, which is security guard for federal buildings, was "overwhelmed" by the protests before the Homeland Security boys arrived.
3. So far, these guys say, everything's been by the book. The unmarked minivan abductions, everything – perfectly fine, nothing to see here.
4. Wolf says his troops' training for riot control in our immigration concentration camps is good enough for handling Portland protesters out on the downtown streets.
And so get used to our new tourists. They have answers for everything. They're not leaving any time soon.
I wonder what hotel is putting them up.
I've heard that it is the Residence Inn Waterfront.

DeleteWhat? Not a Gordon Sondland hotel? :)
DeleteHe's got a bit of that young Rudolf Hess look to him too.
ReplyDeleteAnd remember, this guy has no relevant experience and has never gone through Senate confirmation hearings because this "administration" is not held to any legal standards.
